In reference should military moms go to war, my answer is YES. With all respect, people want equality, the same opportunity to participate in sports, here are few examples. High School girls want to play in High School Football, they want to be Police Officers, Firefighters and even now wrestling. So not to long ago woman fought for the right to go to the front lines during war and not be just nurses or doctors. They fly helicopters, fighter jets and they should be proud they have accomplished that. So what has changed that now they should not have to go off to war because of kids. It is no different when they put on the Police Uniform or the turnout gear as a Firefighter. Are you now going to say because there is a house fire today you don't have to go inside the burning house to make a rescue or be on the nozzle to put the fire out? How about there is a report of shots fired at another Police Officer, you don't have to go to that either becasue you have kids? These are the risks when you sign on for jobs like those including the military, read the fine lines in the paper work. All agencies that wear a unifrom in the three I mention have a high risk. Everyone of those agencies informs you and asks you about taking life or sacrificing your own and are you willing to do that? If you have answered yes or sign that paperwork this is a possibilty with that oath you have taken that might happen one day. No one likes war, or having to take another's life or lose your own when tryingto save another from a burning building but that is what can happen when you put the uniform on. So if you are a mom and are in the military and get called up to serve in a combat zone you need to fulfill your oath. I hope all return safe but a father can raise children as well as a mom.
